Current/Future Research Goals:

  • Continued work to further characterize the pathway used in Pseudomonas putida to oxidize reduced phosphorus compounds in the environment.
  • Explore possible dominant-negative effect caused by second metabolic pathway for reduced phosphorus compounds shown in mutant Pseudomonas putida strains.
